Trooper Marienus J. Segeren New Jersey State Police  July 25, 1971  Trooper Segeren died of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. At that time, he was assigned to Troop A and had been a member of the State Police for more than two years. He left behind his wife, Lynne, and four daughters.
