Sergeant Ippolito "Lee" Gonzalez Township Of Frankiln Police Department  May 7, 1995 Sergeant "Lee" Gonzalez, 40, was just a half hour away from the end of his shift and just 150 yards from the police station when he made a "routine" motor vehicle stop late on a Sunday night. One of the occupants of the vehicle, a motorcycle gang member and paroled murderer, opened fire, fatally injuring the fourteen year veteran. Sgt.
