Officer Peter Brewer Atlantic City Police Department April 13, 1890 Officer Peter Brewer died of a Pulmonary Hemorrhage 6 days after assisting at the raid of a cock fight. Officer Brewer became a member of the Atlantic City Police Department in 1883 and was one of the oldest members on the force at the time of his death. He was 36 years old when he died and was survived by his wife Emmaline. Officer Brewer's death is the first recorded law enforcement death in Atlanic County. Close Window
