Q: How do I become a member of the 200 Club of Cape May and Atlantic Counties?
A: Becoming a member is easy. Simply fill out an application and make a $100 minimum donation. You can get an application online by clicking on the Membership Application link on our home page or for more information, please contact Membership Committee Chairman, Fred Romonowski by email.
Q: How long do memberships last?
A: Memberships last for one calendar year. You can join the 200 Club at any time throughout the year, and then renew your membership each January.
Q: What does the 200 Club of Cape May and Atlantic Counties do with the donations?
A: The Club uses the donations to assist the families of police, fire and rescue workers who have risked or lost their lives in the line of duty. Donations also provide scholarships, valor awards, and funding for a variety of community projects related to police, fire and rescue.
Q: Are donations made to the 200 Club of Cape May and Atlantic County tax deductible?
A: Yes
Q: How long does it take donations to reach families needing assistance?
A: The Club strives to present checks to families within 24 hours of a tragedy.
Q: Who is eligible for a Cape May and Atlantic Counties 200 Club scholarship?
A: Scholarship eligibility applies to those who meet the following criteria:
- Those graduating from high school by June 2008
- Children or stepchildren of Cape May or Atlantic County officers (police, fire or rescue) killed or disabled in the line of duty
- The Club also considers grades, SAT scores, community service and financial need.
Q: How many scholarships does the 200 Club award each year?
A: Each academic year, the 200 Club of Cape May and Atlantic Counties awards up to five $2,000 one-time scholarships.

A: The 200 Club of Cape May and Atlantic Counties offers a Line of Duty Fatality Manual to public safety departments. The crisis manual contains guidelines to implement if a fatality occurs in the department.
